For our next wine dinner, we head toward Spain to sample some fantastic wine made by Alfredo Arribas, who joined us in the bistro earlier in the year. His collection of wines has amazing variety and depth, with there really being something for everyone - from Spanish wine fans, to consummate Californian red drinkers. 

Claudia Arribas Villa is director of Marketing and Communications for Portal del Priorat, as well as the daughter of winemaker & proprietor Alfredo Arribas. Spanish born, she was educated in the Benjamin Franklin International Baccalaureate School with an emphasis on international relations. She speaks multiple languages, spent 8 years as a teacher of English and professional translator and is also an accomplished filmmaker!

She will be on hand to present the evening and the interesting background to each of the wines being sampled. Chef Eric has put together a fantastic menu, showing off the best of each of the wines with an eclectic range of subtly (and some not so subtly) Spanish inspired foods.

Couscous is a North African dish that became a popular meal when Moroccan immigrants began settling in Paris in the 1950's and 1960's.

Tranche and Corliss Wine Dinner

Join us for a special tasting of boutique wines from Walla Walla, Washington. They are small production wines that focus on the Old World style and have been highly rated by critics. We will be joined by the Corliss National Representative on a visit to Cincinnati to guide us on a tour of these wines, paired with five amazing courses from Chef Nathan.

Some of the wines offered for this dinner are hard to get your hands on. We have had allocations reserved for our event, and will have stock to sell bottles of each at state minimum pricing. A great opportunity to stock your cellar with wines that might otherwise be tricky to source.

Italian Wine Tour with Wine Trends

Last year, we hosted Anthony Taylor from Winebow to take us on a tour of some of his Italian wine selections. The event was so informative and featured such delicious wines, that, by popular demand, we have invited him to join us again.

This dinner focuses on a different selection of wines offering a glimpse of some of the breadth of styles Italy has to offer. Alongside these great wine tastings, Chef Nathan has put together a delicious menu to perfectly profile and match flavors. 

This promises to be a fantastic evening of food, wine, and tremendously expert hosting.

Raclette Party Night

Join us Wednesday February 22nd at 7pm for a Traditional Raclette Party, presented to support Indian Hill High School After Prom.

Raclette is a Swiss dish that is also popular in some parts of France. The Raclette cheese is melted onto potatoes and is eaten with a range of accompaniments. A perfect dish for the cold, wintery months.

The Raclette buffet includes Raclette cheese, steamed potatoes, roasted vegetables, bacon, La Petite Pierre’s house salad and assorted French pastries. 

A selection of wine pairings will also be available to sample alongside the Raclette buffet.

Raffle tickets will be available and all proceeds go to benefit Indian Hill High School After Prom. The raffle winners will be announced after dessert.

To show our support, one of the raffle prizes will be a La Petite Pierre Fill-the-Pot Gift Card, and each guest at the event will receive a La Petite Pierre Bistro Gift Card to use at a later date.
