For our next wine dinner, we head toward Spain to sample some fantastic wine made by Alfredo Arribas, who joined us in the bistro earlier in the year. His collection of wines has amazing variety and depth, with there really being something for everyone - from Spanish wine fans, to consummate Californian red drinkers.
Claudia Arribas Villa is director of Marketing and Communications for Portal del Priorat, as well as the daughter of winemaker & proprietor Alfredo Arribas. Spanish born, she was educated in the Benjamin Franklin International Baccalaureate School with an emphasis on international relations. She speaks multiple languages, spent 8 years as a teacher of English and professional translator and is also an accomplished filmmaker!
She will be on hand to present the evening and the interesting background to each of the wines being sampled. Chef Eric has put together a fantastic menu, showing off the best of each of the wines with an eclectic range of subtly (and some not so subtly) Spanish inspired foods.
